Time away from home

Matt took himself off to Belgium so I decided to go international too :)

Its nice to be able to escape to my parents house while hes away. Theres no point in staying home with two busy kiddos and no company in the evenings! Plus with being here, I get some me time and still get to work out too :)

Ellee loves being here. She pulls Dak's (Jack) fur and climbs all over him. For a dog that has rarely if ever been in close contact with children he does amazing with her. Im never concerned he may harm her!
On top of dog and cat chasing, I've thrown in some potty training time with her. And OH MAN am I happy I did! Shes totally picking it up! I concerned not bringing her potty here but today was awesome! Yesterday she #2'd on the potty and today I knew she had to go.
I said "Ellee?"
And just looked at her. Then she said "Poppy!"
And proceeded to walk down the hallway into the bathroom and waited for me to sit her on it. AMAZING!!
Such progress for an 18 month old. My goal, she will be trained by 2.
With my want to have her potty trained, I've had to delay pacifier weaning. I have started taking it away from her when shes playing, but she still depends on it at night and naptime.
And her vocabulary! Wow!!
Today I got her to say meg, D, lala, & stott. Thats a big feat and will make some aunties and uncles proud :)

Peyton also is awesome!! She will be 7 weeks old on Thursday and we are on an amazing sleep track! Last night she went 930-545 between feedings then till 930am. AWESOME! I was thrilled. I actually slept from 1030 -545 without an hour break! So nice. Id think shed be close to going all night considering her weight gain. Shes done so well!
And she smiles all the time. so sweet.
