My sister in law informed me I should blog more about my savings.
Its
funny, because its addicting when you find a good deal. Its literally
so thrilling. I am so ridiculous I know. But when your bill is at 40
some dollars and you're waiting with eager anticipation to see if it
ends up at the proper amount, it just is so satisfying :)
I
always struggled to figure out the proper couponing strategies and on
top of that different stores have different coupon policies. For
example, some stores will give you money back if the value of your
coupons exceeds your amount due, others will not. There are so many
little quirks. And I am still trying to figure things out. But I do have
my go to stores, CVS, and Dominicks, mainly. This week however is an
awesome Jewel saving week!!!
Here is my Jewel trip this afternoon. It was soooooooooo amazing :)
This week at jewel you get $5 off for each 3 select P & G products you purchase...so I purchased
3 Mr. Clean All purpose cleaner Sprays
3 Mr. Clean All purpose cleaner bottles
6 boxes of puffs
3 Dawn liquid soap
3 Febreze spray
So If you do the math quick thats 6 different sets of 3 so multiply by 5 thats an automatic $30 off :)
I also had a couple coupons including buy 2 get 1 free and b1g1 free
This bill total was $8.00 and some change :)
After Jewel I swung by Dominicks to stock up on some cereal. The hubs loves cinnamon toast crunch and little sassy doesn't mind it too much either. :)
Dominicks is running a similar $5 off deal when you purchase certain products. \
They have $5 off if you buy 5 of the specified participating products. Cinnamon toast crunch and Cheerios are in this deal and are priced at $2.50 each.
So I bought 4 boxes of cinnamon toast and 1 box of cheerios.
I had for $1.00 off 1 box of Cinnamon toast.
5 x 2.50 =12.50
-5.00 instant savings
-4.00 coupon savings
Total (plus taxes) =3.58 :)
I really like these buy so many instant savings deals :)
So does Ellee.
(After re-reading the post quickly I think it could win an award for the amount of smiley faces in it)
